This week I've built one of my first kits from forge world. The Deimos pattern Vindicator Laser Destroyer.
Well on opening the box you'll see a plastic Rhino kit for Games Workshop. This is the two basic frames with the two sides of the rhino, treads, upper and lower hull. On building the kit you only build the "inner walls" the top hull and lower hull. Leaving you with some spare bits that could be used to make an interesting scenic base. Here is a quick look at how it should look!
Next the Forge World resin pieces go on. This includes two side pieces, and a upper hull with the main weapon mounting point. Which in this case is the Laser Volley Cannon. The Volley Cannon itself is 8 pieces that in my case went together very easily with no straightening of the barrels needed. Also the hatch, twin linked bolter, weapon shield, dozer blade, four exhausts and power cables on the top, come as separate pieces.
This tank is going to fill a tank hunting roll in my Imperial Fists army, both for 30k and 40k. Looking forward to testing this baby out in the next few weeks.
Anyone done any building this week? Let me know in the comments!
So that's it for this week! See you next time from the table of a Plastic Addict!
