Today is the day! Indomitus is here!
So we've all seen the lucky people who got pre veiw copys, and the pictures up on the Warhammer Community site. So heres my addition to the hundreds of post about whats in the box, with some of my own thoughts about the sprues as I see them.
So the box its self its a good size box, about the same size as most of the "two army" boxes that GW have done over the last few years.

So on first opening the box you see a lovely piece of art work, as seems to be the new norm for these box sets.
Theres alot of sprues in here! With a total of ten sprues, four being for the Marines, four more for the Necrons , and two having one Marine character and a Necron character on them (See pics below!). So first thing I have split the two halfs, noticing that as seems to be the case with newer boxes there are no truely mixed sprues with both Necrons and Space Marines to two that are "mixed" can easily be seperated in to two sprues I feel like this is more a production choice than trying to mix the factions.

Its a move I heartily approve of as it makes splitting these boxes up far easier. The Space marines look awsome! The Outriders are on one big sprue with two of the bikes and a smaller one with just one bike.
With the Blade Guard, Ancient, Eradicators, Judiciar, Chaplain all mixed together on a big sprue.
Leaving the 10 Assault Intercessors across two more identical sprues.
The rule book is nice and chunky, a bit bigger than the last rule book, having a quick flick though I see lots of new art and some old as well!
Also in the box is one sheet of transfers, with unit and chapter markings. There are 4 chapters represented on the sheet, Ultramarines, Blood Angels, Space Wolves, and Dark Angels. As great as having a transfer sheet included in the box set, I always feel like GW are ignoring the huge number of other chapters. But if I'm being honest, I'd be happy if they had just added Imperial Fists Chapter markings (as I am sure plenty of people would be happy with just there choice of chapter included).
